At the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria on Monday, September 9, 2013. Beatrice Fontaine (nee Lalonde) of Alexandria; age 100 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Fontaine. Loving mother of Bibiane Lebrun (late Raoul) of Alexandria, and Raymond Fontaine (Betty) of Toronto. Predeceased by 3 brothers Henri, Eugène and Armand, and by 5 sisters Lea, Alice, Aline, Ida and Lena. Dear daughter of the late Pierre Lalonde and the late Anna Leroux. Also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Community Nursing Home for all the loving care given to Beatrice. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Friday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Beatrice a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
