Joseph Harry Plue of Lancaster, ON, originally of North Bay, ON, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the age of 87 where he was residing at the Caribou Veterans Memorial Pavilion in St. John`s, NL. Predeceased by his beloved wife Lorraine Plue (nee Corbeil), daughters Joanne Rita Plue and Suzanne Fox (John) and sisters Rita Naismith (Cecil) and Leona Ranger (Jack). He will be sadly missed by his children Richard Plue (Carol), Kathleen Plue (Leslie), Nanette Robertson (Robert), Alison Whalen (Edgar), Diane Flatt, Jennifer Demers (Jean-Paul); his grandchildren Sarah, Jessica, Craig, Dustin, Sandy, Christopher (Melanie), Saskia, Harry, Cynthia (Stephen), Joanne (Kevin), Chelsea (Chris), Jillian, Sacha (Denis) and Philippe; and his great grandchildren Hailey and James and their goddaughter Paulette Ashworth (Ron), godson Claude Corbeil Jr. (Kristen) and many nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered for his service in the navy during WWII and for his generosity within the community of Lancaster where he will be greatly missed by all those he touched.
