At the Community Nursing Home on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Therese Eugenia Séguin (nee Besner) of Alexandria; age 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Lorenzo Séguin. Dear mother of Laurent (Jocelyne), Cecile Leroux (Jean Claude) and Jean Claude (Pauline). Loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 10 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Josephus Besner and Florestine Pilon and 14 brothers and sisters. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, (613-525-2772) on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11 am. Cremation will follow with spring burial of cremated remains at St. Margaret of Scotland, Glen Nevis. In Lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Therese a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
