At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Stanley Thomas “Tom” Speers of Alexandria; age 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Speers (nee Drainey). Loving father of Carol Cavener (Mark) of Moncton, N.B., Sharon Relihan (Tim) of Rockland, and Kevin Speers (Amber Ardizzone) of Beaconsfield. Predeceased by one sister Etta Kerr. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Lance, Ashley, Cindy, Dylan, Jordon and Azura, and great-grandfather of Cailum, Hayden, Kieran, and Roghen. Dear friend of Patricia Vincent. Son of the late Thomas Speers and the late Mary Jane McDonell. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date in the spring. Time and location to be announced. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 14 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Community Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Tom a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
