At the Ottawa General Hospital on Friday, April 18, 2014. Lana Shirley Amell (nee MacGillivary) of Williamstown; age 50 years. Beloved wife of Dalton Amell. Loving mother of Travis Amell of Williamstown. Dear sister of Gail Major (Al), Ken, Brian, Wayne (Nancy), Larry (Joanne), and Linda Dupuis (David). Dear daughter of the late John MacGillivary and the late Jean Lauzon. Also survived by 4 brothers in law, 7 sisters in law, and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Sunday, April 20, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Monday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Williamstown on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 11 am. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the OSPCA would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Lana a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
