At the Ottawa General Hospital on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Chantal Lalonde McDonald of Alexandria; age 42 years. Beloved wife of Dean McDonald. Loving mother of Alexandre McDonald. Cherished daughter of Maurice and Diane Lalonde (nee Marleau) of Embrun, and granddaughter of Mariette Marleau (late Jean) of Plantagenet and Thérèse Lalonde (late Dorilla) of Embrun. Dear sister of Suzanne Benoit (Michel) of Clarence Creek and Lyne St.Onge (Francois) of Limoges. Also suvived by 4 nieces Noémie St. Onge, and Mackenzie, Adrianna and Victoria Cox, and by 3 nephews Maxime and Nicolas Mainville and Olivier St. Onge. Predeceased by 1 nephew Benoit Mainville. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 7-9 pm and on Friday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, Glen Robertson on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 11 am. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Breast Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Chantal a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
