At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 10, 2014. Pierrette Quesnel (nee Daoust) of Alexandria; age 67 years. Beloved wife of the late Germain Quesnel. Loving mother of Sylvie and Manon Quesnel both of Ottawa. Dear sister of Gaëtan Daoust (Diane), Yves Daoust (Carole), Denise Proulx (Jacques), Diane Levac (René) and Gervaise Prévost (Daniel) all of Les Cèdres, Quebec, Luc Daoust (Dominique) of Vaudreuil-Dorion, and Jocelyne Daoust (André) of L'Ile-Perrot. Dear daughter of the late Charles Henri Daoust and the late Germaine Léger. Also survived by sister in law Jeannine Deschamps (Donat) and brother in law Jean-Marie Ouimet, and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, May 16, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-10 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11 am. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Pierrette a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
