At Hospice Cornwall on Sunday, June 1, 2014. Peter Lionel Pidgeon of Alexandria; age 70 years. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Pidgeon (nee Thompson). Loving father of Julie Pidgeon of Alexandria. Dear brother of Wilfred Pidgeon (late Rose Marie) of Alexandria, Edward Pidgeon of Cornwall, Paul Pidgeon (late Carol) of Prescott, Ernest Pidgeon (Linda) of Dorion, and Suzanne St. Pierre (Lionel) of Lancaster. Predeceased by two brothers William and Gordon Pidgeon and by two sisters Mary Gareau and Josephine Sauvé (late Hector). Dear son of the late Hugh Pidgeon and the late Marybelle MacCuaig. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. At Peter's request there will be no visitation or Funeral. A Graveside Committal Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Hospice or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Peter a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
