Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Donald George McRae "Tiny" of Lancaster; age 57 years. Beloved husband of Elizabeth McCormick. Loving father of Liam McRae of Lancaster and Rod McRae of Ottawa, and stepfather of Kilian McCormick of Ottawa. Predeceased by one brother John McRae. Dear son of the late Donald McRae and the late Patricia McBean. Friend to many and loved by all, Tiny will be remembered for his warm smile, his generous nature, and his kind heart. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7- 9 pm followed by cremation. A celebration of Tiny's life will be held at the Alexandria Curling Club on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 1 pm - 4 pm. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation or to Rachel's Kids would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to "Tiny" a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
