Suddenly, at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Friday, July 18, 2014. Garry Burns Smith of Maxville; age 80 years. Beloved husband of Evelyn Smith (nee Campbell). Loving father of Carolyn Harrison (Larry) of Maxville, Christine Flagler (Wilf) of Pickering, Cheryl Taylor of Ottawa, and the late Dale Smith. Cherished grandfather of Adam, Sadie, Olivia, Katie, Billy, Colin, and Ben. Predeceased by his parents Hugh Smith and Aula Beckstead and his brother Gordon Smith (late Ada). Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, and on Wednesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. Funeral Service will be held at the Maxville-Moose Creek United Church, Maxville, on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 11 am. Followed by Interment in the Maxville Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Highland Games or the Glengarry Sports Hall of Fame would be appreciated by the family.
