Beloved husband of Henrica (Rovers) for 65 years. Proud father of Frank (Diane Faubert) Alexandria, Rita (Conrad Menard) Alexandria, Audrey (late Francois Viau) Lancaster, and Henri (Colleen Cameron) Pickering. Will be sadly missed by 8 grandchildren, Marc, Louise, Randy, Melanie, Patrick, Kelsey, Kyle, Brendan and 4 great grandchildren, Danika, Mia, Alice and Ava. Survived by 5 sisters, Mary (Denny) Van Loon, Riek (Bert) van Rens, Johanna (Kees) Van Eyk, Jean (Ben) Ruiter and Tina (Andy) Vingerhoets. Predeceased by 1 son in law Billie Gebbie, 1 grandchild Jeffrey Gebbie, 1 brother Bert (Ann) Wetering and 2 sisters Betsie (Marinus) Van Pinxteren and Antonia (John) Van Sleuwen. Cherished son of the late Antonius and Hendrika Van de Wetering. Born in the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1951. Will be fondly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. His spirit will live within us forever. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Thursday from 11 am until 12:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lancaster on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 1 pm. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Tony a tree will be planted. A tree grows-memories live.
