Peacefully at the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Raymond Campeau of Alexandria; age 90 years. Beloved husband of Cécile Campeau (nee Bériault). Loving father of Gaëtan Campeau (Johanne) of Navan, André Campeau (Sylvie) of Buckingham, Murielle Campeau (Germain Thibeault) of Gatineau, and Michel Campeau of Laval. Dear brother of Gilles Campeau (Simone) of Côteau-du-Lac. Predeceased by 5 brothers Eugène, Adrien, Rémi, Edmour and Paul-Emile, and by 1 sister Rosa Bériault. Cherished grandfather of Stéphanie (Nicholas), Véronique (Jérémie), Richard and Dominic, and great grandfather of William. Dear son of the late Elzéar and Aldéa Campeau (nee Trottier). Also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at L'Église Ste. Marie de l'Assomption, Green Valley on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Raymond a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
