At the N. A. Labrie long term care on Monday, September 29, 2014. René Quenneville of Baie-Comeau, Quebec; age 92 years. He leaves behind his loving wife Bibianne Gagnon, her children, grand-children, his former spouse Irene Carriere and their children; André, Robert (Christiane), Denis (Linda), Diane (Michel), Sue, Helene (Yves), Rejean (Lynn), Jacques, and Nicole (Patrick). Predeceased by his brother Aimé (Pierrette) and sister Rhea Lemieux (late Maurice, late Wilfrid Seguin). Dear son of the late George Quenneville and the late Albertine Chenier. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). A visitation will be held at the Church on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 12 until 1 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Glen Nevis on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 1 pm. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial donation s to the Parkinson's Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to René a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
