Passed away peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria, on Saturday, August 8, 2009. Bertha (Betty) Helen Oldham (nee Buller) of Alexandria; formerly of Montreal; age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Albert (Al) Oldham. Dear mother of Keith Oldham (late Linda) and companion Billie of Grimsby and the late Anne Delanty. Dear mother-in-law of John Delanty of Bainsville. Cherished grandmother of Kimberley Curran, Todd, Ryan and Amber Oldham and great-grandmother of Kendra and Lukas. Sister and best friend of Kathleen (Kitty) Lawton (late Jerry) of Alexandria. Predeceased by her parents, James Henry Buller and Angeline Anne Dery, her sister, Marguerite Buller and her three brothers, Jimmy, Ernie and Paul Buller. Betty is also survived by many nieces, nephews and her special friends, Joan Laferriere and Gerri Tibbals. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd, 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, (613) 525-2772 on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral, Alexandria, on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
