At the Hospice Cornwall on Sunday, July 31, 2011. Archille “Archie” Gaucher of Lancaster; age 78 years. Beloved husband of the late Claraise Gaucher (nee Lalonde). Loving father of Ronald, Huguette, Evelyn, Diane, Anita and Edward Gaucher. Dear brother of Dorina Johnson of Alexandria. Predeceased by four brothers Omer, Aurel, William and Edouard Gaucher and by two sisters Anna Menard and Cecile Bougie. Dear son of the late Eusebe Gaucher and the late Alexina Cholette. Also survived by five grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Tuesday, Aug 2, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 7-10 pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lancaster on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Archille a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
