Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Monday December 1, 2003. Ernest (Ernie) Patrick Etherington of Alexandria: age 67 years. Beloved husband of Georgette Etherington (nee Theoret). Dear father of Jackie (Jocelyn) and Ronnie (Claudette) both of Martintown, Jimmy (Stephanie) of Alexandria, Rodney (Joanne) of Lancaster and Phil (dear friend of Lisa) of Alexandria. Dear son of the late Jack Etherington and the late Joan McCready. Dear brother of Mary (Mrs. John Mauiro) of Surrey B.C., Avon Brewster, John Etherington of New Brunswick, Loretta (Mrs. Bernard Sabourin) of Alexandria and Maureen Monaughan of Toronto. Predeceased by his brother, Richard Etherington. Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria (525-2772) on Wednesday December 3, 2003 from 7 to 10 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Finnan’s Cathedral, Alexandria on Thursday, December 4, 2003 at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
