Raymond Laferriere, age 72, was reunited with his beloved wife Anna Laferriere (Poirier) on March 28, 2013. Cherished father of Robert (Sandra) and Allan (Tracy). Loving grand-father of Samantha, Ashley, Hannah and the late Chelsea. Dear brother of Madeleine Bronner, Denise Renaud and Gerald (Simone) Laferriere. Predeceased by his parents Laurier Laferriere and Eileen Charlebois. He will be missed by his many relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria (613) 525-2772 on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Church, Apple Hill, on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment in St. Anthony’s Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Raymond, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
