Peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Elise Clara Séguin (nee Brunet) of Green Valley; age 77 years. Beloved wife of Maurice Séguin. Loving mother of Micheline Séguin-Jeaurond (Richard), Luc Séguin (Suzanne), Rémi Séguin (Sylvie), and Monique Séguin-Bourdeau all of Alexandria, Marc Séguin (Vera) of Orleans, Yves Séguin (Mélanie) of Casselman, and Denis Séguin (Carole) of Glen Sandfield. Dear sister of Denise Jeaurond (Bernard) of Dalkeith. Predeceased by 2 sisters Gisèle Lauzon and Françoise Brunet. Dear daughter of the late Solomon Brunet and the late Alice Lanthier. Also survived by 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 2-5 pm and 7-10 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Ste. Marie de l'Assomption, Green Valley on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11 am. Spring Interment Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Elise a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
