Lucille passed away peacefully surrounded with compassionate loving care at the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria, Ontario on February 14, 2014 at the age of 95. Lucille Poirier (nee Rozon) was the beloved wife of Ubald Poirier of Valley Garden, Green Valley, formerly of Alexandria and by a previous marriage to the late René Lacombe of North Lancaster. Loving mother of Diane Roy (Donald) of North Lancaster, Gilles Lacombe (Lise) of La Prairie, Quebec and Robert Lacombe (Hélène) of Embrun. Precious grandmother of Dominique Sabourin (Normand), Donald G. Roy (Elissa), Mathieu Lacombe, Dannick Lacombe, Carolyne Lacombe (Olivier) and great-grandmother of David and Jules Sabourin, Nicolas and Sebastien Roy. Juliette and Tristan Boileau. She will also be missed by Denis and Jocelyne Poirier of Pilon's Point. The only daughter of Aldéric Rozon and Alice Lalonde, Lucille was predeceased by eight brothers; Laurent, Orphir, Orene, Ludovic, Ruben, Dassise, Victorin and Rev. Jérôme Rozon and by two infant grandchildren, Isabelle and David Roy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 22, 2014 at Eglise Sacre Coeur at 2 pm. Spring interment in the parish cemetery of St. Margaret of Scotland, Glen Nevis. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Lucille a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
