At the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Marjorie Shepherd MacKinnon (nee Cameron) of Alexandria; age 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Louis Shepherd, and beloved wife by a second marriage to the late Wallace “Bud” MacKinnon. Loving mother of Katherine (John) and Rodney (Darlene). Predeceased by daughter Rhonda (Bob), son Gary Shepherd (Colleen), brothers D.C, Gilbert and Bruce Cameron, and sisters Peggy MacGillivray and Jean McRae. Dear daughter of the late Robbie Cameron and the late Elizabeth MacDonald. Proud grandmother of Robert Taylor, Robyn Denis, Randy Taylor, Lee Shepherd, Wendy MacDonald, Kristin Hinz, Paul Gauthier, Alanna McIntyre, Landon Shepherd, and 12 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Monday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. Funeral Service will be held at the Alexandria United Church on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11 am. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Community Nursing Home or to the Alexandria United Church (Church on the Hill) would be appreciated by the family.
