At Hospice Cornwall on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Barbara Gail Pidgeon (nee Thompson) of Alexandria; age 63 years. Beloved wife of Peter Pidgeon. Loving mother of Julie Pidgeon of Alexandria. Dear sister of Harold Thompson (Marjorie) and Ruth MacKay (late Jack) both of Alexandria, James Thompson of Cornwall and Isabel Murphy (Doug) of Long Sault. Predeceased by one sister Kay Quipp (late Lawrence). Dear daughter of the late Jim Thompson and the late Pearl Henry. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. At Barbara's request there will be no visitation or Funeral. A graveside Committal Service will be held in the spring at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Cemetery, South Lancaster. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 14 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Hospice or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Barbara a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
