Condoléances: Sister Marcella is a woman of faith whom I came to appreciate more and more over the years that I encountered her here in Toronto. She had a strength of spirit, faithfulness and perseverance which I admired greatly. She brought such peace to those to whom she ministered in St. Joseph's hospital where she found a calling to which she dedicated herself entirely. The world is a better place thanks to her. May God welcome her to the banquet table of the Kingdom and bring comfort to the Holy Cross community and her family.

Condoléances: My husband was fortunate enough to meet Sister Marcella at St Josephs Health Center where they both worked and our friendship blossomed from there. Marcella was always " Super Fine!"and a great inspiration to us as we began our lives together and got married in 2003. We had the pleasure of spending many special times with her visiting where she grew up in Clayton NY; meeting her sister Mary;going out with the folks of St Joes and enjoyed getting to know the Sisters in Alexandria. In spending this special time with Sister Marcella, we enjoyed her many blessings, paintings, books, speeches and prayers which were inspired by her love of God and life. We'll never forget these special moments and adventures together. Peace be with you Marcella. You are dearly missed.

Condoléances: How fortunate I've been to have shared some moments with this incredible lady. One of the funiest people I've ever met, she had that wonderful very dry sense of humour that kept me laughing every time I was in her company. She was such a sweet person that always left me feeling good about everything.
She will be remember and missed by many.
    May she rest in peace
    Cathy

Condoléances: Sister Mary Bernadetta was the first principal and Grade 7/8 teacher at St. Thomas the Apostle School in Renfrew in 1958/59. I had the privilege of being her student. Without hesitation,I can say that her class was the best prepared to enter high school in the region, especially in grammar and language. She was well loved and respected by all her students. What an inspiration she was! After retiring from teaching she served as Chaplain at St.Joseph Health Centre for 23 years! Rest in Peace, Sister Bernadetta. Excellent work! A+
